Fourecks  Dogs

purchase terms & COnditions

Fourecks Dogs will provide paperwork for your records containing breeder details and registrations, puppy details, dame and sire details and these terms and conditions.
Terms & conditions current as at 10-Feb-2021, subject to change without notice.

A non-refundable deposit is required to hold any puppy.  You will be advised of the cost of the dog before a deposit is taken.  The remaining balance is to be finalised approximately two weeks before delivery of the pup/s.

If you’ve put down a pre-deposit and there isn’t a pup you want in the first litter you’re sent pictures of, then the deposit moves to the next litter and so on until you choose a pup.  This deposit is also non-refundable if you change your mind about buying a puppy from Fourecks Dogs.  Payment of deposit denotes acceptance of this contract whether signed or not.

Pups can be flown interstate or overseas at buyer’s own cost. Arrangements will be made by the seller, and buyer must pay associated costs at least one (1) week before departure to the CARRIER (Petflyers, Dogtainers etc).  Responsibility for the pup is transferred to the new owner as soon as the pup leaves the hands of the breeder.

Seller certifies that this puppy was bred in accordance with the MDBA registration requirements for pedigree dogs.

Breeder will make application to MDBA for litter registration, and individual dog papers will be issued to the buyer at address supplied above as soon as the buyer confirms they have had their puppy desexed for limited register, which usually occurs after 6 months of age.  Seller can make a photo of registration papers available to buyer after receipt from MDBA (can take up to 90 days), but original papers will not be released to buyer until proof of desexing is received.

You must abide by your local council laws and ensure you register your dog.

The seller certifies that this puppy is, to the best of his/her knowledge, healthy at the time of sale. Vaccination records and a health background will be provided by the seller, which includes information on diet, vaccinations, worming, bathing and any other treatment given to the puppy.

The buyer is encouraged to have the puppy examined by a state licensed veterinarian within 72hrs of purchase, at the buyer’s expense. If this dog is determined to have a major health defect not attributable to the pup’s journey home or change in food and water and is in the vet’s opinion unfit for sale, s/he may be returned to the seller, in sound and healthy condition, for a full refund at that time (excluding vet fees incurred and shipping). This refund policy does not cover death due to neglect or abuse. Partial refunds are not given – if any refund is requested the dog must be surrendered to the breeder to receive such. Fourecks Dogs is not responsible for injuries or accidents incurred during transportation via third party to the new owner. New owners accept all risk involved in transportation of puppy.

Your new puppy has been bred and reared with the utmost love and care. All care has been taken to produce perfect puppies, healthy in body and mind. Your pup is sold subject to it being understood by the purchaser that as a living creature it is impossible to predict how it will continue to develop, physically and with regards to behaviour, over which you will have the principal influence. Currently Fourecks Dogs are not bred for breeding or showing, and are all on limited register.

As parents and/or forebears have been tested for CL, TNS and CEA (and others in many cases) it is guaranteed that your puppy can never develop these diseases. Some parents may be carriers but are always bred to clear dogs. Paperwork proofs will be provided if wished.

Buyer agrees to inform the seller if / when the dog is moved to a new address, and the seller agrees likewise to inform buyer of any change in location. If this dog is offered for sale or transfer to a third party, other than immediate family or friends, the dog MUST be first offered to the seller at the same terms in writing. The seller than has ten (10) days to accept or reject this right of first offer.

If this dog should, anytime in its lifetime, need to be surrendered at no cost, the breeder will re-claim this dog, and it’s re-homing becomes the choice of the breeder.
